Sponsor Licence

If you own a business that wishes to recruit foreign skilled workers, then you must apply for a sponsor license. The sponsor license is ordinarily issued for a period of 4 years and is renewable.

Once you have successfully acquired your sponsor licence, you can issue a certificate of sponsorship and recruit overseas workers.

Important update

From January 2021, the qualifying criteria for eligible posts will be adjusted to NQF level 3 or above. Many more occupations will should be included in the new list.
